Philadelphia Dog Attack Victim Consults with Attorney Newell

Posted on: April 24th, 2013  padog

On April 21, 2013, a 50 year-old man was attacked by a pit bull in Philadelphia. The pit bull’s owner opened the back door to his home and the unrestrained dog ran out and bit the innocent victim 3x in the buttocks as he tried to escape the vicious dog. The tan colored pit bull is an adult and has white markings. Three other pit bulls also live at the defendant’s home.

Attorney Thomas J. Newell was called within hours of the attack. He advised the Philadelphia pit bull attack victim to return to the hospital to receive a rabies injection since there was no proof that the pit bull was up to date with its shots. The gentleman also followed Attorney Newell’s advice by reporting the attack to Philadelphia Police, as well as a Philly Animal Control Officer.
