Bethlehem Dog Bite Victim Hires Attorney Newell

Posted on: August 30th, 2014  padog

On 8/21/14, a Bethlehem dog attack victim met with Attorney Thomas J. Newell at the site of the dog attack on Ontario Street. The elderly man explained how a little boy was walking a pit bull down the street. The 72 year old man was working on his friend’s automobile. The Lehigh Valley dog attack attorney asked him to re-enact how the attack happened on 8/7/14.

The boy, perhaps 8 or 9, initially had the pit bull on a leash, but the dog broke free from the little boy’s control and pursued the elderly man. The pit bull bit him multiple times on the right arm and left wrist. Fortunately, 2 people who were nearby came to his rescue and pulled the vicious dog off the victim.

While the pit bull owner has been identified, she has failed to apologize to the victim, take responsibility for the attack or pay for any of his medical expenses. Attorney Newell will be prosecuting her to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Posted on: August 21st, 2014  padog

On 8/18/14, Attorney Newell provided a free consultation to a Lehigh Valley woman whose tiny dog was killed by a neighbor’s unleashed pit bull and mastiff. The vicious dogs ran off of their owners’ property and attacked the mixed breed dog which was leashed on its own front porch.

Your Lehigh Valley dog bite lawyer suggested that the Lehigh County Dog Warden would most likely issue citations to the negligent dog owners for violating the PA Dog Law.

On Aug. 16, 2014, Attorney Newell received a call from a Carbon County dog attack victim. He had hired a general personal injury attorney to handle his PA dog bite claim. The victim complained to Attorney Newell that the personal injury lawyer didn’t seem to know what he was doing and couldn’t answer basic questions.

#1Unfortunately, this complaint is one that your PA dog bite lawyer hears often. Attorney Newell reminds all PA dog attack victims that the PA Dog Law and PA’s Vehicle Code are totally different statutes. Most car accident lawyers know nothing about the PA Dog Law or about the legal cases interpreting this legislation.

Lehigh Valley Dog Attack Victim Hires Attorney Newell

Posted on: August 11th, 2014  padog

On August 8, 2014, your Lehigh Valley dog attack lawyer was hired by a 29 year-old woman from Nazareth, PA. In late July, she was working at a dog daycare/boarding facility when she was the victim of an unprovoked dog attack.

The Lehigh Valley dog bite victim was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where surgery was needed for one of her fingers which was nearly bitten off by the vicious dog. Nearly a dozen stitches were used to close the wound. The Nazareth resident was given heavy doses of antibiotics and pain medication.

Dog Bite Victim With Severe Injuries Remains Unrepresented

Posted on: August 6th, 2014  padog

On August 5, 2014, your PA dog attack lawyer received a telephone call from a young man who was severely mauled by his roommate’s pit bull on August 19, 2012.  The dog owner was uninsured. The victim sustained significant wounds all over his body which left permanent scars. He also suffered a broken nose.

The Philadelphia dog bite victim stated that his roommate had just adopted the pit bull from a local shelter 9 days before the attack. He claimed that they lied about its background and hid the fact that it had bitten its previous owner.

Sadly, because there were only 14 days before PA’s Statute of Limitations, Attorney Newell could not accept his case. There was no time left to do a thorough investigation to determine if there was a legitimate legal basis to file a lawsuit versus the animal rescue shelter.

Don’t wait! If you have been injured in a dog attack, call Attorney Newell ASAP @ 1-800-980-4842. Schedule your free HOME consultation today. Learn more about Attorney Newell’s expertise at  Follow him on Twitter:
