On September 7, 2013, Attorney Thomas J. York County Pit Bull Euthanized

Posted on: September 3rd, 2013  padog

On August 27, 2013, the York County SPCA put down a pit bull that had mauled to death a Shih Tzu in York PA.  According to The York Daily Record, the pit bull got loose and attacked the 4 pound dog as it was being walked by its owners at the intersection of East King Street and South Broad Street in York.  Area neighbors came running out to help and prevented an even greater tragedy.

SHIH TZU #4Animal Control Officer for the City of York – Mark McCartney is investigating this brutal, unprovoked attack.  Attorney Newell has had previous dealings with Officer McCartney and hopes he charges the pit bull owner with multiple PA Dog Law violations.
