On 5/1/15, an 8 year old girl was attacked by a pit bull in Sharpsburg, PA resulting in severe dog bite wounds to her arm. According to area police, the pit bull owner had to use a crowbar to pry open the dog’s mouth in order to release its jaws from the little girl’s arm. She is being treated at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
