On Saturday, April 3, 2021, your attorney for dog bite attacks in Berks County met with the parents of a young girl who was attacked by a dog in her neighborhood. The German Short Haired Pointer bit her on her face without any warning or provocation. She was initially evaluated at Reading Hospital.
The magnitude of her dog bite wounds required the girl to be immediately transferred to Lehigh Valley Trauma Unit in Allentown PA. Surgery was performed and 14 stitches were needed to close 3 different lacerations. Follow-up care was provided by her pediatrician.
