On October 15, 2015, Pennsylvania State Police shot and killed a pit bull after it had pursued a victim in Towanda PA. The pit bull was running loose and unrestrained on a neighbor’s lawn in Bradford County Pennsylvania. The adult male pit bull allegedly pursued and tried to attack 4 different Towanda residents. The troopers killed the pit bull after they could not subdue it with pepper spray. PA Dog Law charges will be filed vs. the owner once they are identified.
