On April 7, 2014, Attorney Thomas J. Newell provided a free home consultation to a Bucks County woman who was attacked by a neighbor’s unrestrained pit bull. The pit bull first attacked her Boston Terrier which was being walked on a leash pursuant to the PA Dog Law.
When the Bucks County dog attack victim tried to rescue her terrier, the pit bull bit her hands. The pit bull owner stood nearby and did nothing to stop the attack. Fortunately, another neighbor came running to her aid and was able to help the victim force the pit bull to stop biting the terrier’s neck.
