On 3/23/17, the Humane Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania filed 3 felony counts of animal fighting and 1 misdemeanor count of cruelty to animals against an Erie PA man. He was charged with ordering his male pit bull to attack and kill a cat. The defendant videotaped the vicious attack and sent it to a friend on Facebook. It is alleged that the criminal activity took place in the 900 block of East 25th Street.
