A Dec. 30, 2014 article from philly.com described a dog attack on Pine Street in Philadelphia that left a Pekingese seriously injured. An unleashed Cane Corso attacked the tiny dog, as well as its owner. The off-duty officer then drew his service revolver and fired at the Cane Corso to stop the unprovoked dog attack.
