On May 26, 2013, a Scranton area dog bite victim e-mailed Attorney Thomas J. Newell regarding a pit bull and Rottweiler attack that took place in May of 2011. The gentleman claimed that his neighbor’s pit bull and Rottweiler attacked him in his own backyard. He shot and killed the Rottweiler while trying to fend off the dog mauling. The PA dog bite victim expressed his frustration with the lack of prompt legal action by gov’t officials to prevent this from happening again.
