On 8/18/17, the Lehigh Valley dog bite attorney filed the last required legal document with the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas to finalize a $215,606.77 dog bite settlement. Two years earlier, a teenage girl had been mauled by a friend’s unleashed pit bull in Bethlehem PA.
The girl sustained significant injuries to her chest that required multiple visits to St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Around 20 stitches were used to close the dog bite wounds to her chest and additional sutures were needed for the right forearm lacerations. The settlement was approved by Judge Beltrami.
