On July 17, 2014, Lancaster Online reported on a 7/15/14 brutal dog attack which took place in Logan Township, Blair County, PA. Police stated that a 42 year old man was attacked by his own mixed breed pit bull terrier-bulldog which had “the owner pinned to the ground and was tearing him up.” Police had to subdue the dog via 2 shots which killed the mixed breed.
