On October 3, 2013, Attorney Newell received an Order from the Orphans’ Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County setting forth an Oct. 21st hearing date for a Minor’s Compromise Petition. A 13 year old boy had been attacked by his friend’s pit bull in June of 2012. Attorney Newell negotiated a $53,000.00 settlement with the defendant’s insurance company and now awaits formal court approval.
