On June 28, 2013, Attorney Newell was in contact with the homeowners insurance company for a Cumberland County pit bull owner. Attorney Newell’s 25 year-old client and her dog had been attacked by the defendant’s unrestrained pit bull on 5/18/13. Initially, there had been a concern that the defendant was uninsured.
