On Aug. 2, 2021, your PA dog attack attorney assisted Northampton County Dog Warden Kathy Andrews in obtaining convictions for 2 PA Dog Law violations. Attorney Thomas J. Newell‘s client had been attacked by a neighbor’s Rottweiler in May of 2021. The young boy sustained serious injuries to his leg.
The Nazareth PA dog owner was charged with violating Section 305 of the PA Dog Law – Failure to Confine. The Rottweiler owner was also cited for a Section 502-A violation – Harboring a Dangerous Dog. At the District Justice Hearing, the child and both of his parents testified. The Lehigh Valley dog bite attorney prepared his clients for their testimony. Attorney Newell also provided background legal analysis to assist the PA Dog Warden.
Since the Defendant has subsequently filed an appeal, the case will now proceed to a non-jury trial before a Northampton County Court of Common Pleas judge.
