On 1/29/21, your lawyer for dog bites in PA filed a 35 page lawsuit vs. pit bull owners in the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas. Attorney Thomas J. Newell detailed the events leading up to the 11/23/19 pit bull attack just outside of Stroudsburg PA 18360. The defendants became owners of an intact male pit bull in 2018. They never got the dog neutered nor inoculated for rabies.
On that fateful day in November, one of the pit bull owners called 911 claiming that there was a smell of smoke in the Stroud Township residence. An Assistant Chief at the local volunteer fire company responded to the scene. One of the adults opened the door to grant him access. The Monroe County resident was immediately attacked by the unleashed pit bull.
