On July 11, 2013, a York County pit bull mauling victim telephoned Attorney Thomas J. Newell. The gentleman had been helping his girlfriend retrieve her belongings from a home in Dallastown. The tenant’s pit bull went after the woman and the man tried to pull her away to safety. The pit bull viciously attacked the man, biting him all over both legs. Physicians at York Hospital needed about 33 stitches to close the dog bite wounds.
