On June 2, 2014, the mother of a Montgomery County, PA dog bite victim called Attorney Newell. Several days earlier, her 12 year old daughter was walking on a sidewalk near her home when an unleashed pit bull attacked her. Allegedly, the pit bull had been recently adopted from the Philadelphia SPCA.
The Montco dog attack victim was treated that day at Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, PA. The pit bull bite wounds were cleansed and she was given a prescription for antibiotics. Unfortunately, the victim’s mother had not telephoned Whitpain Township Police nor the PA Dog Warden.
