On June 8, 2013, a Dauphin County PA dog attack victim hired Attorney Thomas J. Newell to represent him after he was mauled by a neighbor’s Labrador Retriever in May of 2013. The Steelton PA resident was walking his Shih Tzu with a leash when his dog became entangled with a clothes line pole. As the gentleman bent over to untangle the leash, the defendant’s black Labrador Retriever bit him on the left ear.
The Dauphin County dog bite victim received medical care at Hershey Hospital where a plastic surgeon was called in to stitch up his ear. Michael Ziegler, the Dauphin County Dog Warden, is currently investigating the unprovoked attack.
