On 4/29/13, Attorney Thomas J. Newell provided legal expertise to the Lehigh County Dog Warden which aided his prosecution of a negligent Allentown PA dog owner. Attorney Newell reviewed Section 502-A of the PA Dog Law as well as the appeals court cases interpreting that statute. The defendant was found guilty of harboring a dangerous dog and failing to have a current dog license. If the defendant chooses to keep her vicious dog, severe restrictions will be put in place to help ensure that no further unprovoked attacks will take place.
