On October 10, 2013, Attorney Thomas J. Newell filed a Minor’s Compromise Petition in Adams County on behalf of a 6 year old pit bull attack victim. The young girl had been mauled by a neighbor’s pit bull in April of 2011. Attorney Newell filed a lawsuit versus the negligent pit bull owners in April of this year. The defendants’ homeowners insurance company yielded to Attorney Newell’s demand and offered its liability policy limit.
