On May 21, 2013, Attorney Thomas J. Newell continued his investigation of a Cumberland County dog bite case. A 25 year-old woman and her dog were attacked by a neighbor’s unrestrained pit bull. Attorney Newell spoke with an eyewitness who confirmed that the defendant’s pit bull was not on a leash. Its owners/handlers stood by while he helped separate the 2 dogs and assisted in the victim’s escape.
