On June 18, 2013, the parents of a Carlisle pit bull mauling victim hired Attorney Newell to represent their 9 year-old daughter. She had been visiting a friend when the pit bull, suddenly and without provocation, attacked her. The Cumberland County PA dog bite victim underwent facial surgery at Carlisle Regional Hospital after she was put under general anesthesia. Cumberland County Dog Warden, Barry Hockley, is investigating the dog attack.
