On June 25, 2013, the mother of a Philadelphia dog attack victim telephoned Attorney Thomas J. Newell to seek his legal advice regarding a 6/24/13 dog attack upon her son. The 8 year-old boy was playing in a NE Philly playground when an unrestrained husky ran after him and bit his left leg. A local pediatrician cleaned the dog bite wound and prescribed antibiotics.
