On 10/17/17, the attorney for dog attacks in Northampton County assisted the Northampton County Dog Warden in obtaining multiple PA Dog Law convictions versus a negligent Lehigh Valley dog owner. One of Attorney Newell’s clients testified that on 9/7/17, she was walking her Shih Tzu mix on a leash in the Bethlehem area. Suddenly and without warning, the defendant’s unleashed Rottweiler attacked her and her pet.
Another individual whom the Bethlehem dog bite lawyer also represents testified that five days later, the unleashed Rottweiler had attacked him and his family dog. With the legal assistance of Attorney Newell, the PA Dog Warden, Kathy Andrews, was successful in obtaining convictions versus the Rottweiler owner of five PA Dog Law charges, including two separate crimes of “Harboring a Dangerous Dog.” Restitution of over $5,000.00 was ordered to be paid to reimburse the victims for their veterinary expenses.
