An Oct. 6, 2014 article from USA Today detailed how a 12-1/2 hour operation saved the life of a pit bull attack victim. The 8 year old girl was viciously mauled by the pit bull which nearly tore off her entire arm. She was medivaced to CHOP on 10/4/14 and remains in the Intensive Care Unit.
