On June 10, 2013, the mother of a Luzerne County pit bull attack victim contacted Attorney Thomas J. Newell. Her husband and son had been making a delivery to a home in the Bear Creek Lake development. The homeowners lost control of their pit bull and it attacked her son. The Luzerne County dog attack victim was bitten on the left biceps and was scratched by the pit bull on the left side of his face. He received medical care at Westfield Hospital in Allentown PA.
