On June 8, 2013, a Cumberland County pit bull attack victim hired Attorney Newell. The woman was with her leashed dog in front of her home when an unleashed pit bull attacked both of them. The 2 teenage girls who were walking the pit bull stood by and did nothing to help the innocent victim or her dog. Fortunately, 2 gentlemen from the neighborhood came out and helped stop the unprovoked attack.
