On 1/11/14, Attorney Newell received a telephone call from a man whose father was injured while trying to save his Shar-Pei from a neighbor’s vicious pit bull. The Pike County dog attack victim was walking his small dog on a leash in Saw Creek Estates when the unleashed pit bull pursued and attacked the Shar-Pei. The elderly gentleman was hurt as he reached down to pick up his Shar-Pei.
