On April 18, 2013, a Bucks County pit bull owner was cited by the Lower Southampton Police Department for violating a local dog ordinance. His pit bull had escaped his home and attacked a neighbor’s German Shepherd. The negligent pit bull owner had previously been cited for permitting his unlicensed dogs to run loose in the Bucks County Township. Attorney Newell is disappointed that the police didn’t charge the pit bull owner with PA Dog Law violations.
